RARE OPPORTUNITYWe have a Running & Driving Bus ready for purchase & I will assist with coordinating your shipping and getting quotes. 100% Feeback, Bid with Confidence. Rare Factor: 2 Cargo Doors on driver and passenger side, 4 Cargo Doors total, this is an original factory Double Door Bus. You can open both sets of doors and see through the bus. I've kept this bus original and stock, some people want to add in the windows and sunroof for $12,000 in Huntington Beach through Grumpy's Metal and resell the bus for $150,000-$200,000. The future owner can do as they would like, it's time for me to let go. Stock Single Carb Engine. Really nice features like 4 crows feet wheels, extremely low production wheels. These were original with the bus. This is a GREAT INVESTMENT!

Background:
Clean California Title in my name, ready to go with 65,000 original miles on this beauty! This bus has the original dove blue and logo's underneath the paint and a local shop here in Huntington Beach can remove the purple paint to reveal the Janitorial Logos underneath if you wish at extra cost (contact me for price). This bus was owned by Al Bufton who owned SiskiyouJanitorial. I was told that janitorial logos are on both sides of the double doors. I know this because the painter who painted the bus in the 1970's contacted me to tell me the back story on this piece of history here. I have his number to pass on. This bus breaks necks where ever I go, the PURPLE really stands out on the road and at shows. You could even use this for Halloween for the Month of October, Knott's Berry Farm has had interest to purchase in the past to use for Knott's Scary Farm.

This was the 228,634th bus made by Volkswagen in December of 1956!Why am I selling? I was hospitalized this year and face some pretty expensive medical bills, over $40,000 and that is growing as the charges come in...I'd like to sell this to help out with that situation. I am trying to settle and decided to sell this rare bus to pay off that debt. This is a great bus to use for business, the double doors open up on each side, so you can actually take orders on one side and deliver goods or service on the other side!Ideal for businesses down by the beach or pubic events, people wanted to use this for shaved ice, icecream, popsicles, food truck, barbershops, plumbing, tattoos etc.
This bus has served its purpose with me, but it's time to let it go to a new home.
Less than 10 of these were produced this month of production at the factory. The rare features of this bus, which are included in the sale, are the barndoor tail lights, the original double doors on this bus make it special, and let's not forget it runs and drives and has very little rust.
HISTORY:
It was used in Eureka, California as a Janitorial company bus until the owner passed away and the son took over the business and bought modern vans instead. For years people tried to purchase this bus, however, he did not want to sell. I was able to get the bus in a rare situation and have used this bus for years going to and from swapmeets. I have had some high offers over $35,000 in the past but I declinedoffers and never thought I'd sell it, a local was trying to purchase via loan but couldn't come through with the money so I am offering this bus on eBay.
PURCHASE:With Buy It Now Option - Roof Rack, Oven & Fridge, Cab Divider, & a z bed rear bench(confirm if you want before shipment) (folds out from a rear bench seat into a bed) will all be included at the buy it now price!
Don't Miss Out!
I drive this bus on the weekends, so miles on bus can increase until auction ends. This is not a new vehicle, a very original bus that runs, drives, and stops.
