Very original, good condition 1969 VW Beetle (Type 1130) manual transmission, 1.5 liter engine, owned in one family since new, includes original owner's manual.Current odometer reading 86,356 miles, likely around the clock at least once.Bought new in Vancouver (Langley), shipped to Toronto area about 2010.During current ownership, brake overhaul, new correct size radial tires fitted, fender repairs right rear, new running boards fitted, under-body heating channels replaced/repaired, partial engine overhaul to replace oil seals, new old stock gas tank fitted, gear shift bushing replaced.Mechanically very sound but interior shows wear on the front seat backs from the seat belts, back seat bench has a tear, front floor coverings tattered and untidy.A good car for a good and worthy VW Beetle enthusiast.This car can drive you anywhere, and with motivation and some elbow grease, this car could be brought to concours condition.
