Here is a 1985 VW Golf equipped with a 1.6 L Diesel motor, a 5 speed manual transmission and only 100k original miles. This car gets 50 plus miles per gallon!
This is a one owner vehicle, bought brand new in Bend, OR at the Carrera dealership. There is zero rust, the car has lived in Oregon all of it's life and has been garaged since day one!The body is all original, very straight and clean and has never been involved in any accidents, free and clear title&carfax. The paint shines and looks amazing, please see pictures.
The interior is in great shape, there are no rips or cracks. The dash is perfect, please see pictures. All of the gauges work great. All of the glass is in good shape,free of cracks. This car was never smoked in! The only flaw is that the drivers side sun visor is missing, please see pictures. We have all of the original VW manuals, dealer brochures, all factory keys, most of the maintenance records for the life of the car as well as the original factory window sticker listing all options and a VolksWagen of America inspection transfer document!
The engine starts rightupand purrs, all bonestock and original, never modified in any way!Just serviced with fresh motor oil&filter, new fuel&air filters installed. The transmission shifts smooth. Also, in the past 10k miles the car had a new timing belt kit installed. This car was always serviced on time and new missed an oil change. The tires are in good shape and mounted on factory wheels with VW hub caps which have some dings, please see pictures.
