The good

• New tigerpaw tires with less than 5000 miles on them
• Oil just changed with OEM filter
• Engine has new top end less than 5000 miles ago
• New weather strip and window guides on front door windows
• Freshly lubed and serviced sliding door
• New canvas tent one year ago
• NEW ABS door panels on sliding door and front doors, attached with rivnuts and M6 rack screws. This means the panels are super easy to remove and re-install.
• New speakers in OEM locations
• New Kenwood Bluetooth Stereo
• NEW LED light in Kitchen dimmable with remote
• New 12v battery 3 months ago
• Back door has new gasket or weatherstrip
• Stainless steel fasteners have been installed on luggage rack and pop top
• Front grills are both new
• Instrument cluster has new LED lights and speedometer cable
• Blower motor has been rebuilt in the dash
• New drivers side seat belt
• Factory cloth is all in really good condition.
• Hitch in the back and prepped for tow bar up front "tow bar not included"
• Seats have just had mechanisms cleaned and lubed and are working great.
• Recent Maaco re-spray in color similar to factory.
• Horn and lights all work.
• Factory clock works on the bench but not when installed in dash.
• Added oil pressure gauge
• GoWesty memory foam mattress pad on upper level sleeping area
• Re-built solid black vent with new weatherstrip and mechanism
• Shocks are probably 5 years old.
• Brake pads are in good shape
• Factory fuel gauge works
• Taillight assemblies were replaced a few years ago with factory parts.
• Fridge works on 120vac, have not tried it on propane or 12v

The Bad

• Gas tank needs re-seal kit fitted. Tank leaks when filled up all the way. I have it from GoWesty but have not completed the job.
• I have not used ANY of the climate controls since I only drive the camper in the summer. I know the AC compressor is missing. All of the other factory AC components are present.
• Corner of one side window is rusty and edge of windshield is cloudy
• Even though new weatherstrip has been fitted to the front door windows the vent windows still make LOTS of wind noise.
• The engine does drip a little oil.
• Passenger seatbelt should be replaced as it doesn't retract as well as it could
• Factory temp gauge doesn't work "Aftermarket gauge added"
• Passenger side rear taillight area shows some minor accident damage from long ago

I have quite a few spare parts that will be included with this sale which includes the factory door cards and another glove box.
Vehicle was owned by my Grandfather and engine work was done at Henderson Motors in Henderson Nebraska. I am working on getting a copy of service records from them to see what work they all did on it. This vehicle was a hobby for him as he was not the original owner. This vehicle has never failed to start in the two years I have owned it.
I have a BRAND NEW Climate Right 5000btu heatpump/ac unit that I wanted to use with the Vanagon but I never god around to rigging it up. I will make the buyer of this vehicle a great deal on this item if you are interested in it.
