1973 VW Special Edition Wild Westerner Transporter
1973 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Wild Westerner
This edition has a unknown origin however, It has been rumored for decades that it was produced in association with the 1974 World Expo in Spokane. This has been widely debated but with no conclusion. This vehicle received a makeover in 2013 which included the following:
- All tires including spare
- All new brake pads and shoes including calipers, master cylinder, wheel cylinders and brake lines.
- All new window seals including new windshield as well as new headliner.
- Exterior paint with stripe
The engine has approx 8,000 on rebuild.
Twin carbs removed and replaced with a new single Weber Carburetor .
Front seats recovered however, middle seat and rear seat original (middle is not installed-need mounting clips).
This vehicle is an excellent daily driver.
