1973 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Selling this awesome "Blast from the Past" 1973 VW SUPER BEETLE for my good friend. This would make somebody a fabulous graduation gift!
EVERYTHING has been done to this bug ( have a whole big envelope of receipts). When they started on this car in 2003, it had 995 miles showing on the odometer (have no knowledge of any numbers prior to this point as to accuracy of the mileage) and now it has 34,796. Only 33,801 miles in 14 years, never has been a daily driver. Always was garaged or parked under a cover.
NEW brakes, wheel cylinders, brake hoses and pads, front struts, bushings, wheel seals and bushings, clutch cable and steering damper.0NEW alternator (73 is a half year car for either alternator or generator), electronic ignition, distributor, ignition.
NEW heads, gaskets, main bearings, cam bearings. Motor mounts, carburetor kit, total tune up (new plugs and wires)
Complete set of seatbelts, front and rear. After market JVC in dash stereo. Tires have tons of tread, no weather cracking but they were purchased in 2000 so buyer may choose to replace at some point in time.
Has been repainted, there are a few minor flaws that you can view in the photos. Great paint but shows a little flat on the back end. Will try to get some wax on this little beauty, she deserves to shine BIG! Replaced both bumpers, all new weather stripping and new running boards.
INTERIOR has NEW seat covers (slip covers over the front seats), NEW carpet kit. Dash is in great condition.
This is just a great ride and it screams. I took it out and drove it and you can get up to 75mph on the interstate with ease.
Well here it is.....not too many low mileage, old school unmolested bugs around. Especially the much, sought after 73 Super BEETLE.

Car can remain on sellers property for a reasonable amount of time while BUYER makes arrangements for pickup.
