RESTORED 1966 BEETLE; STORED SINCE RESTORATION

RESTORED 1966 VW BEETLE STORED SINCE RESTORATION. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING. This car was owned by the original purchaser from Atlanta Georgia until purchased by the restorer. We purchased the car when restoration was 95% completed. Restoration was completed by Vintage VW in Jasper GA. The car was stored for approximately 5 years in a climate controlled garage-driven less than 5 miles after restoration completed. The car was returned to Vintage VW and has been inspected and made road ready (over $1200 spent to correct all minor issues resulting from storage). Vintage VW reports there is a quarter size rust spot at the bottom of the front fender at the running board and that there is slight clutch chatter if the clutch is ridden at low speed (not noted during normal shifting).Odometer reading is Exempt under Federal law. Since we did purchase from the original owner we have no knowledge of theactual milage. We have approximately $15,000 in the car but it is time for it to go to an new home and be driven. COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER.

Nonrefundable deposit of $500 required within 48 hours of the close of bidding. Bidder must pay balance and take delivery of vehicle not later than 5 p.m on June 7,2017. Failure to take delivery and pay the balance by such date and time will result in a cancellation of the sale and forfeiture of the deposit.

Transfer of Title: Buyer will receive the original 1965 title signed by the original owner and a Bill of Sale from the Ebay seller. Georgia permits transfer of ownership and registration by Bill of Sale for cars manufactured before a certain year. We chose a Bill of Sale in order to retain the original title. Your State law will determine if you must surrender the original title.
