Description:

1965 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

1965 S042 Pop top Camper.Clear title my name.True S042, correct M-Code
Just a clean project restoration to start. replaced some gear (rear hatch, Cargo door) found stock head lights, fried egg turn signals, did some basic body work. Been clipped in the front, and has some bondo, but really good, clean job.
Has metal to replace outer long rocker, both wheel wells. Good frame, solid bones to start. True S042, correct M-Code, Clear title. Have some S042 specific misc. parts for it also. Some glass, correct, including 3 Hehr 2185 louvered camper windows, plus solid correct, logo'd glass for closet, and replaced the rear hatch (rotted out and beltline) and installed correct logo'd glass with new seal. Comes with fuel tank, misc. hardware. I found the hinges for the pop top, also, have some of the bow's and clamps.
Just a really good, solid base for a restoration project. It's not like they're making them anymore, and most of what's being offered as restoration is junk. I pulled it out of Yuma,Arizona a couple of years ago, and she's been in my shop ever since.Did a little, chased down some parts, and now I'm moving on. Dry vehicle, roof is perfect, as is most of the metal. Frame solid.
I can possibly deliver West Coast if we cut a deal and your flexible time line. I can keep it in my shop (out of the weather) for a reasonable amount of time (after paid for).
this is a no reserve auction. I'm starting the bid at less than what I have in it, but, time to move on.
Vehicle sold "As is, Where is". More than welcome to check it out before auction ends.
Ok, Need a quick update. No Trades, no pmt. plans, no low ballers. I'm not desperate, I'm just tired of working on buses these days and I've had plenty in my day. I'm keeping 1 splitty and my baja, which is enough, but not going to give it away. If you follow these buses you know the junk they're selling these days. Kind of if you can roll it on the trailer without it collapsing, it's a deal at 5k. This is a solid restoration project and with a little investment will make a great driver/investment at the same time.
