Vw rabbit pickup one owner

1981 Volkswagen Rabbit

I'm selling this for my neighbor. He is in his 70"s . He bought this truck new . He parked it in a barn about 5 to 6 years ago . Mice had eaten a few hoses etc .. The car must have set in barn for a long time . I got it running again for my neighbor. He spent like $2,000 in parts . The car about 5 or 6 years ago Got . New radiato, New Bosch fuel pump. New Bosch accumulator. New Bosch fuel injector. Plus bongs.plug wires cap rotor etc. some new fuel lines to fuel distributor . After fixing the car his son drove it for a few years just to work which was a couple miles from his house . The son moved didn't take the truck . So Went back in barn . Mice have eaten the plug wires . ( which are ordered plus 2 outside handles )rear view mirror is missing . The wing Windows need clued in .steering There is a click cv joint . Column also seem loose . Fairly new tires . Runs good . Odometer stopped working years ago. Owner thinks it has 76,000? Blower motor/ac/fuel gauge/ odometer don't work . When I fixed it for my neighbor 5 to 6 years ago . I didn't want to remove the dash to get to blower motor . My neighbor just wanted it running again .repairs were done with the correct Bosch parts . Just yesterday bought new battery and and new cold start vavle. The truck has dents and dings . It's never been painted . There is a small very small area of rust under front passenger fender . The rest of the car is solid . My neighbor dosnt want the car to go back in the barn . He wants it to go to some one who will appreciate it . It needs just a little more love . The headliner is missing as rats were in in from sitting in the barn for a long time . The original carpet was professionally shampooed . 5 to 6 years ago . The first time it came out of the barn .
