1964 Volkswagen Beetle--Herbie the Love Bug--No Reserve!!

1964 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Sedan 2 door

Here is my 1964 Herbie Beetle. I have had this car for 3 years. I had it stripped and painted last year in its original color of VW PearlWeiss L-87. The interior was not painted but left in the original paint. I have been driving Herbie as my daily driver for the past 15 months and have put over 6000 miles on it in that time. It runs great for a 54 year old, so it has typical old VW quirks, but it is a blast to drive. Everywhere I go in this car I feel like a celebrity as people always take pictures and ask questions. It had nice blue seat covers inside but I took them off and found the original seats in not too bad of condition. I will include the blue seat covers as well as a bunch of VW parts. I know the VIN indicates a 1966 model, but this is a 64 body on a 64 pan. I think sometime in the 1980s the VIN plates were switched. I think the car is all original except the engine is a 1500. Even the smoothie wheel rims are original. Not much rust anywhere except a bit on the bumpers. NO RESERVE auction---
