1983 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Tan
1983 brown and tan two tone vanagon. Two beds; the second is the canopy raises straight up, as opposed to the diagonal that is more common. Has a clean, working sink, clean water tank, two burner propane stove; has always worked. Propane lasts surprisingly long. Fridge, which has worked sporadically, it's the original fridge so I just use it for storage. I've always just used a cooler on camping trips. Plenty of cabinet space all over built into the walls.
She's been my girl for over four years; made drives up and down the west coast, everywhere between eastern and western WA to San Diego, CA. She runs great! With a rebuilt engine. Never had an issue. Over the last four years I have replaced various parts; rear and front brakes, coolant container, lits bit and parts. We've put some love and car into whenever she desired but she has never once been out of commission, and due to this sporadic TLC she has solid parts.
A few of her extra nice unique features:
-Heavy duty rubber industrial matting; has had it covering the floor in the body and under the petals since I've owned her. Has kept her floor pristine. It has grooves to catch water, dirt and most importantly beach sand. (custom cut)
-Waterproof boating material covers her seats, cushions, couch and bed. (all custom made and cut) This makes it perfect for surfing, just hop in don't worry about the water.
-A few nicely looking handles and such- surfer vibe. This has been my surf machine in so Cal.
