Up for sale has got to be one of the nicest Bay Window Westfalia’s on the market right now. This bus was an original California bus that went through a year long restoration. You will not find many nicer than this one and it is going to make someone a happy camper!
Rebuilt 2.0 engine w/ full receipts done less than 250 miles ago from a reputable VW shop.
Exterior- Paint was done about a year ago and still looks great. There are a few imperfections and is not a show winning $10,000 paint job. All the windows were removed and it was painted nicely but not perfect. The body was completely rust free before paint as the bus has been in N. California its entire life. There was no bondo or filler during paint. There are a few little door dings that were and still are present from original paint and body. Bumpers were stripped and painted. Fiberglass top was removed and painted with a marine grade gloss. Brand new tires, powder coated rims, all new rubber window seals, custom tire cover with VW emblem and og plaid backing. Overall the exterior is a 8.5/10 and looks very nice. This bus gets attention everywhere it goes. This bus is 99% rust free. There is a little rust under passenger side battery tray but that is it. Underneath is solid, floors are perfect, etc.
Interior- The interior is absolutely beautiful on this bus. Everything was removed and redone in a professional manner. All new custom wood panels, high end custom upholstery done with original plaid fabric from upper bunks to maintain the original look, All original cabinets still look great, custom wood floor and center section, New curtains w/ OG plaid tie backs including front curtain, New custom Bamboo front floor mat, New Bluetooth CD player with phone mic, Brand new canvas pop top, rear speakers with og plaid fabric that can be moved outside for music. Overall the interior is a 9/10. No money was spared during the build and it shows very nicely. You will not be disappointed.Mechanical- Newly rebuilt 2.0 engine with less than 250 miles since rebuild. Close to $5,000 in engine work alone. Brand new tires. Brakes are all good. This thing runs and drives great and I would not hesitate to take it on a long road trip.
Extra’s- Matching trailer painted to match. Designed to hold all the gear. Very light weight and tows very nicely. All camping equipment is included in the sale. Original Vintage Coleman Cooler, Stove, Lantern, etc.

This bus is in great condition but is not perfect. There are some imperfections that should be expected for a 38 year old VW but overall, this is a very nice Westfalia and will make whoever wins the auction, very happy!
