A 1967 VW Karmann Ghia in very nice condition - located in Dutchess County, NY. Black with maroon interiors. This is a great car that you can use every day (well, probably not in the winter - the heating leaves something to be desired), and while it is a not a show car, it looks fabulous and is sure to turn heads.
The body is relatively rust free, starts right up, sounds great, looks great and is a pleasure to drive. The odometer says 80,000 miles.
THE GOOD- clean nose, good looking, great original engine and body, stylish. Have original manual and papers from the first owner - and history tracking most owners (3).
THE EHH - likely replaced seat covers and various other parts on the inside. Someone (not me) decided that the car needs a CD player....
THE NOT SO GOOD- headliner sags, dent in the right forward side - likely fixable with a vacuum suction and eminently patchable, window crank on the passenger side needs to be replaced ($23)
THE INTERESTING - this car came with a factory air conditioner!! (This was prudently taken out at some point), and the clock works.
