1985 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Country Homes Camper

Selling my beautiful 1985 Country Homes Camper Vanagon GL. It is a very solid, original, and clean car. 1.9L 4 cylinder engine with a 4 speed manual transmission. Fuel injected and water cooled. Runs and drives like an absolute dream. Power steering and power breaks make it very easy and comfortable to drive. Perfect daily driver and road tripper! Brand new water pump, temperature sensor, thermostat, fuel filter, and more. Even equipped with factory A/C and heat. A/C system just needs to be recharged with freon. Also has cruise control but does not currently work.
Interior is very original and in very good shape. Has 2 beds: One up top and one on bottom. Comes with complete kitchen, which consists of sink, fridge, and stove. However, the van does not have the propane tank to run the appliances so they do not currently work. Everything is complete though and ready to be hooked up. Also has tons of storage cabinets and even a closet! Canvas pop top is in great shape with no tears and even 3 window screens. Even has nice hardwood floors! Bottom mattress is brand new and top mattress is in great shape. Ready to hit the road!
I have also done a few upgrades which include custom made floral curtains, a bumping custom pioneer sound system, and a surf rack. Van has the Carat cladding that runs around the bottom of the van and the paint is in excellent condition. Van has only had ONE paint job since the original paint and is holding up beautifully. It seems the paint job was professionally done and theydisassembled the van completely to paint inside and out. Van does not show any signs of ever being in an accident and the body is extremely straight. No rust on the van besides a tiny bit of surface rust under the front windshield. Very minimal though. Has factory sunroof as well. All the lights, gauges, etc work.
This van looks great and drives like an absolute dream! Motor has been rebuilt once and runs great. Transmission shifts very smooth. Van steers straight and is purely an absolute joy to drive. Clean title and Current Registration.
