1985 VW Vanagon GL

1985 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon GL

I bought this as a project because I've always wanted one, but have decided to let someone else enjoy it. I've got too many irons in the fire right now and don't want to see it just sit till I find the time and money to finish it. My loss is your gain.It's a 1985 GL, has 154K miles showing on the odometer, and according to the previous owner, the engine has been changed. The paint is faded but could be buffed out, the body is rust free, all the glass is good, and the interior is in good condition, just needs cleaned. It does run, and the clutch and tranny are good. The tires have good tread, but are cracked and dry rotted from sitting for several years so they will need replaced.
It would take very little to have it roadworthy, especially for someone who knows VW's.....
