1968 Volkswagen Type III

stored in closed garage since late 2009. runs, driven little. engine complete. 1600 cc dual port, solex carbs, electronic ignition. one carb installed, second needs a rebuild, third carb new in box. all cooling tin present. 5 pedrini rims from Porsche 914, correct offset. slowly putting it back to original. no time or place to work on it. body complete, rust free, e.g. drainage spouts and seals below air intake vents on rear quarter panels fully in tact. new pans. car from southern California where it is bone dry. interior mostly complete however would love a complete makeover. I started with new dash, original steering wheel, original shifter. seats original but not perfect. no headliner. assortment of parts all included, like four new tires never installed. needs a good home to a true enthusiast. in decent shape overall, a good foundation for the next owner. pictures taken the day it went into storage late 2009, interior photos mid 2008, I have the door inserts
