1973 Rare Custom VW Bus This is a rare customized 1973 VW Bus. Rare because it has a 1600cc dual port motor in a 1973 Bus chassis !!! Custom because Bamboo floors and Bamboo striping between the blue and white on the beautiful custom paint is not standard VW decor !!! The motor and transmission have both been rebuilt and have less than 1,500 miles on them, since the rebuild !!! They were rebuilt at our shop,The Bug Clinic !!! We are selling this for our customer who has very little history on the bus. It was bought at a Mecum auction with several problems that he found after he made the purchase. He paid $18,000.00 plus fees for it and has paid more than $8,500.00 in repairs to make it run, drive,stop and shift properly !!! It now dose !!! The body shop that sold this at auction did a fine job of making this Bus look AWESOME !!! The Bamboo floors,the two tone paint and upholstery look great together and with the surfboard on top make a Great presentation !!!
