1977 Triumph TR7 Sportscar Green
1977 Triumph TR7
1977 Triumph TR7.
Vehicle Details
Here we have a very original and rare 1977 Triumph TR-7. I believe it is still wearing its original paint from 1977 and has the original interior.
This car has been a Southern car for as long as was known. It appears to have been factory under coated, and we were unable to find any rust worth mentioning at all. Factory AC (not cold). Of course the original almost 50 year old paint isn’t perfect. Some chips and dings, but it presents very well!

The five speed manual transmission in this car is the original transmission, as is the engine with split single barrel carburetors. This car has the rare folding sunroof option, and features nice original triumph rubber floor mats. Working 8 track player!! Three hubcaps included.
I’ve been driving this car around town, and it does very well. Shifts, accelerates and stops well. It’s actually pretty peppy for around 100 hp! Sometimes there is a metallic noise in the rear end when driving. I think the emergency brake cable needs adjusting.
It has newer performance exhaust, a newer battery, and new tires. And the oil was recently changed. This car came from the collection of an elderly man who never drove it. The only thing that I have seen that does not work consistently is the speedometer and odometer.
