1975 Triumph Spitfire 82,000 miles with hardtop NO RESERVE
1975 Triumph Spitfire
I have had this car for about 5 years. The car ran 100%. Before covid, I backed my truck into the hood. Everyone wanted $600 for a fair hood so I purchased a spitfire that was hit in the rear. (Pictures available) Since I hated the color light blue on the Spitfire, I thought it would be a great father/son project during covid to strip and paint the car. Needless to say it became my project because my son bailed on me. The extra car had a great interior so I swapped it out leaving me many extra parts. As I finished the stripping, I had a heart attack and lost my passion getting it ready for the season. This car has the original motor and transmission since I purchased it. I was planning on buying a new set of carpets from Moss Motors after it got painted, so I held off. The pictures attached show the stripped-down version as well as what it would look like with the black carpet reinstalled. I didn't glue down the carpet. It was just for picture purposes. The car does need a windshield that I broke as well as the back glass on the hardtop.I never completed reinstalling the wiring so the car can't be started and must be towed.
