1973 Triumph TR-6

Selling my 1973 TR6 (VIN CF2795UO) that I’ve owned since 2011. This car was a California high desert car it’s whole life (I have pictures of the California Blue Plates when I purchased the car) and does not have a spot of rust anywhere. The body panels are original and the car has been repainted once in the original pimento red color. I don’t believe the car has ever been hit.

This is a factory overdrive car and has the factory hardtop. The convertible top frame (and a worn out top) is included. The redline tires have excellent tread but are getting old.

In 2020 I spent over $4000 at TR City Restorations in Greer, SC for the following (this is just a partial list):

New rear hubs from Phil, New dashboard, New wiring harness, fuel tank, rebuilt distributor, wiper switch, overdrive switch, ignition switch, fuel pump, brake hoses, brake rotors, calipers, steering rack bushings and a huge list of other parts and work. I have a spreadsheet from Alan Salvatore (proprietor) listing the work.

After all this work the car was running great. Unfortunately, Covid hit and the car sat since then. Now, the car will run but dies out. The carbs need cleaning. But, I’m not interested in putting in any more time or effort into the car. I’ll be moving after the first of the year and am looking to reduce what I need to move.

At this point the car needs the carbs cleaned and new interior installed (seats, carpet, and door cards) to be excellent. Fortunately, included in the deal is new TRF seat upholstery and carpet for the car. I also have Bob Danielson door cards and his special made fender cover. I also have several totes of TRF and NOS parts that, if you added it all up, would total several thousand dollars.

Starting bid is $18,000 obo. Which is WAY less than I have in it. I’m not interested in any trades.
