From what I've been told by TR8 enthusiasts, this is a very historic car as it'sone of the 20-1981 TR8's built at the Canely factory. Do a little research on the cars, very interesting.Sadly,the previous owner failed to give me the original window sticker and paperwork as promised, So I'm sorry, no records come with the car other than what I've done. But there is a box stacked with mailers and catalogs from the previous owner. A LOT of them.
An absolute blast to drive!Ready to be driven & enjoyed today, not tomorrow.Since February, I've had this work professionally done: New fuel tank seal, internal fuel screen,fuel hose,sending unit, oil and filter changed,Bosch fuel pump, Bosch fuel filter and timing set.No engine leaks or funny sounds, wobbles, pulling left/right or vibrations when driving. Idles nice when stopped as well.Occasional drip at rear main.The car is in excellent condition and presents better in person.
Comes with blue top boot, blue tonneau cover along with a nice Covercraft car cover. NewAM/FM/cassette stereo with AUX input. Even a nostalgic power antenna, so no holes in the car cover.
Titled and insured in MY name,sold as is with No Warranty implied Or offered onthis 42-year old Triumph. It's not a 100-point show car, but is sure looks and drives like its only a few years old.
