Vehicle Details

1959 Triumph TR3. Recent Work w/ receipts:New Battery; Negative Ground Conversion; 40amp Alternator in Generator Body; Dummy Voltage Regulator for internal regulated Alternator; Pertronix Coil; Pertronix Ignition; Various Wiring Harnesses; Steering Box Overhaul; Aluminum Pulley kit (Narrow belt Conv w/ Fan delete); 3 Core Aluminum Radiator; Electric Fan (Spal) w/ BeCool fan switch w/ Hella Relay; Clutch Master Cylinder; Clutch Slave Cylinder; Brake Master Cylinder; Brake/Clutch Fluid Reservoir Lines; Pedal Springs; Glove Box; Choke Cable; Rebuilt Fuel Pump; Viton tip Needle Seat kit; Hella Horn set. I purchased this over the winter and did all the above work. Repainted by previous owner. Presents well but has a few blemishes. Body is rock solid. Magnet sticks to any body panel. There's one area on the passenger side fender where the magnet feels weak (picture w/ blue tape). Engine runs very well. Plugs always stay clean. I added a picture of one cylinder using an endoscope. Pistons are clean and walls still have cross hatching. Currently running an aluminum radiator w/ electric fan. Runs at perfect temperature even on hot summer days. Brakes perfect. Clutch perfect. Shifts smooth. All electric perfectly operational. Have new top and side curtains as well as tonneau cover. I have a new set of front springs and shocks which I haven't installed yet. Interior looks nice. Previous owner dyed seats and dash. Has new carpet w/ original rubber floor mats. Tires are also new. The Bad: recently developed a sizeable oil leak. Appears to be a rear main seal. Leaves decent size drips when parked and covers passenger side frame when driving. Im selling because I need a car I can leave outside from time to time. This has to be garaged. And also, I just need a car with a trunk of any kind. My daily driver is a SL500 so I have two impractical cars at the moment. Im currently looking for a Dodge Dart/Plymouth Scamp; Rambler Classic; but also open to trades/partial trades.
