| This Triumph TR8 was purchased new at Rally Motors in Bergen County New Jersey by its first owner on August 7th, 1981. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| It has since been owned by several enthusiast owners. Even though it has resided in several east coast states there is no rust present to speak of.The car appears to of been Ziebarted but we are unsure as to when. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| The car is a true testament to the care given to it by previous owners. The car still sports its original paint along with a few minor chips and small scratches. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| The seats and carpet are all original and in excellent condition as can be seen in the attached pictures. Both the convertible top, and convertible top boot, are also original and are both in excellent condition. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| We purchased the car in August 2017 with just under 19,000 miles on it, Since owning this car we have replaced the brake hoses along with the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, cold air intake hoses for the air filters along with an oil change. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Car now has 20,500 miles on it and unfortunately doesn't get driven enough. This would make it a great collector car for the reasons listed above and as the old adage goes a car can only be original once. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Previous owner updated air conditioning to type 134a which still blows nice and cold. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| The TR8 has passed CA smog with flying colors the two times we have taken it in for its biannual test. We will of course provide a current smog for a California buyer. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
