Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this desirable early GT-6 fitted with a factory overdrive gearbox. This car was recently purchased from a car repair shop back East and sold to us on behalf of the owner who had it restored approximately 15-20 years ago. It wears an older restoration in interesting colors with attractive period alloy wheels, and still drives runs and drives very well. The car's VIN plate shows it was originally delivered in Signal Red with a Black interior, with Overdrive Gearbox fitted.The bodywork and paint on this car is older but still shows well overall. Paintwork is attractive and glossy. It's showing some usual chips, small dings, some small paint blistering associated with older paint but looks good from 10 feet. Bodywork overall is good and straight with evidence of new rocker panels, some minor rust in the hind quarters behind the rear wheels, and a few spots on the floors, but quite a solid car overall.Mechanically, the car's engine runs excellent and very strong, with a good working overdrive gearbox. Despite being in storage for some time, it drives well on the road with good brakes, clutch, steering. It would benefit from newer tires and shocks, an easy improvement. The car is fitted with it's period Monza mufflers which sound fantastic. PLEASE SEE DRIVING AND WALK-AROUND VIDEO.The car's interior trim was restored years ago and is now older, showing some age to it's materials, but is definitely usable and comfortable. The instruments are operating correctly. The glass appears to be very decent. The wood/alloy steering wheel appears newer.Overall, a super driving car that is mechanically very healthy. This pretty little car can be enjoyed now and easily improved in the future. It's a desirable early GT-6 with factory overdrive and is a quite sought after piece in the current market.
