This car was recently purchased from it's third caring owner who thoughtfully restored this car to it's excellent condition you see it in today. It's a superb low-mileage factory Overdrive car originally finished in Mimosa Yellow with Black trim.The car received a very nice cosmetic and partial mechanical restoration approximately 5 years ago. Bodywork and paint is of fantastic quality and was sent out to a professional shop. Brightwork is the original excellent items such as the bumpers, door handles, headlight rims, etc. The car includes it's 4 original rubber overrider blocks that can be re-installed if desired. The windshield was replaced at some point with a new rubber gasket.The car's interior is very original and has been improved where needed. The dashboard wood and crash pads appear original. There's a small repairable crack in the top pad. The car has had a new quality carpet kit fitted along with reupholstered seats in the correct pattern. The panel kit is the car's original and is very nice. A perfectly fitted new black top and top boot have been installed. The final interior touch is the addition of a new Motolita style wood/alloy steering wheel.Mechanically, the car is superb. It starts easily on the key, revs well with great oil pressure and no smoke. It's a perfectly running "healthy as a horse" drivetrain that feels and drives like it's recorded original mileage. The overdrive unit on 3rd and 4th gear works very well. PLEASE SEE DRIVING VIDEO. The engine bay is well detailed and presents beautifully. The previous owner replaced some items as a precaution that included a new wiper motor, gear reduction starter, overdrive solenoid, new 3-piece clutch, slave cylinder, Petronix ignition, steering column bushes, balanced driveshaft, 5 new tires, modern radio with GPS.Overall, a lovely turn-key, low mileage TR-6 that has been well kept and maintained/restored as necessary.
