1961 Triumph TR4
This is one of the earliest TR4's! It's the 436th car produced and one of the earliest TR4's with a surrey top.
I just purchased this TR4 this afternoon. These pictures were taken shortly after it was driven from a barn in the woods where this car has sat since 1984. Keep in mind, I did not even wash this car.
The previous owner parked this car in 1984 after he hit and killed his beloved German Shepherd. You'll see the minimal damage below the right front fender. After his passing his wife decided to sell the car.
The paint is in perfect condition as is the dash & interior. The vinyl cover for the surrey top is in the trunk and looks new. The chrome wire wheels are perfect as is all of the other bright work. The tires will be replaced this week because they are severely flat spotted.
The car is currently at my mechanics shop where it will receive a complete service, fluid change, coolant flush, tune up, and safety check.
