1975 Triumph TR-6

For your consideration is this beautifully restored 1975 Triumph TR6 in Carmine red. The photos only tell half of the story. It is as beautiful inside as it is out. This sale includes all the manuals, spare parts, etc. I have for the car. My son is off to college, the ONLY reason I would part with this car. I have chased down and eliminated any issues that I have read were inherent to the original factory vehicles. This car is ready to hop in and drive, but includes a few extra fun performance parts you can install at your leisure. The car is being sold as-is. The buyer will be responsible for pick up or delivery arrangements.
This vehicle was completely stripped down to bare metal back in 2013. No repairs, bondo, etc. were needed/used because the car was rust free. It was re-painted in the the original carmine red. We chose not to perform a frame off restoration because it was not necessary given the lack of rust. We did, however, scrape, wire brush and repaint the underside of the car. This car was kept in dry warehouse storage for 13 years before I purchased it explaining the rust free condition I received it in. It has never been kept outdoors. I don't even drive it in the rain. It is not a trailer queen though. This car is very dependable and can handle long trips without an issue.
While we were repainting it we pulled the motor to repaint the engine compartment. During that time the front and rear engine plates were replaced with aluminum plates, the timing chain was changed, and gears replaced as were the front and rear engine seals. The front transmission oil seal and rear main seal were also replaced along with the flywheel pilot bushing. The motor was flushed and refilled with Evans waterless coolant (great product...additional coolant will be provided with the vehicle. Read about it. Great stuff!) The fuel tank was also removed and pressure tested and found to have no leaks.
I don't think there is a nut or bolt on this car I haven't turned. You can take this car to car shows and win all of the ribbons and trophies you want if that's your thing. I would strongly invite and encourage anybody that is interested to come visit the car in person. It is a very honest car represented honestly for your consideration. Located in Webster, New York (suburb of Rochester).
