1968 Triumph TR3

This amazing automobile has been a pet project of mine for over 10 years but it's time to let someone else enjoy the history and uniqueness of this wonderful and fun car which has turned more heads than almost anything I have ever owned. For those who want to have something beautiful and rare in the garage, fiber fab is still the answer in the Jamaican is the most beautiful body shape they ever created. The simplicity of the Triumph TR3 mechanicals makes it fun and practical to own. This car has been completely mechanically restored with a rebuilt engine by a specialist shop, all new hydraulics, clutch, brakes, cooling, as well as a gorgeous paint job and beautiful Dunlop wire wheels. There are so few of the Fiberfab Jamaicans on the road due to the fact that the shape required a 1966 Corvette windshield, and a Porsche 911 rear window both of which have been professionally fitted to this car with the correct chrome trim. The side windows are VW Karmen Ghia and still need fitting with all new hardware and glass included. We used the original TR3 seats with all new foam and high grade genuine leather in black with red piping. There are a few other small tasks to do as you enjoy the car, including rewiring the front headlamps, and aligning the front bonnet to fit a bit better which is an easy but somewhat fussy task requiring two people. The car has a clear California title and all the numbers match to the title documents so the car can be registered in any state and is currently registered and licensed in California. The body is the first series Jamaican from 1968 with a 1971 TR6 chassis and title, and 1960 TR3 mechanicals. Ask all questions but this is a very rare opportunity and if you look up some recent sales these cars have brought big money at auctions. This one has a low reserve ! Factory Fiberfab build manual and TR3 manual included. Note: totally rust free California chassis and lower body were used and beautifully restored prior to assembly. I have owned and enjoyed this car for 10 years and I am a well-known and serious Triumph enthusiast who spared no expense to do the work I've done to a very high standard. The few easy things that are left to do will make the car truly the new owners personal expression as well.
