EXCEPTIONAL 1976 TR6
COMPLETE FRAME-OFF RESTORATION!!!
VIN: CF54665U
We are pleased to offer this exceptional 1976 Triumph TR6. There are very few TR6's restored to this level as it can become very costly, very quickly. Pictures just can't capture how beautiful this car is in person. It had a comprehensive nut and bolt frame-off restoration completed about 10 years ago. Everything is new or rebuilt and is in near-perfect condition. There is a complete file on the restoration including all receipts and many photos. The body has had a show-quality bare metal repaint in its original Olde English White. The car had any rusty panels replaced, it is not full of filler and fiberglass like many TR6's. The engine is a rebuilt long block from the Roadster Factory with 1500 miles on it. The interior is completely new from the Roadster Factory in the original Chestnut color. The top is perfect. The engine compartment is nicely detailed. The underside of the car looks like a model and has a light coating of Waxoyl to protect it from corrosion.

DRIVING IMPRESSIONS
On the road it runs and drives perfectly. The engine idles smoothly and accelerates nicely. It shifts perfectly through all the gears. It does not shake, rattle, or blow smoke. One short drive in the car and you can tell the quality of the restoration. The gauges, switches and lights function properly. If you have been around old British sports cars this is not the rule! If I had to nit-pick the car I would say the original chrome bumpers are not as nice as the rest of the car, but that is it.
There are a few subtle but great upgrades to the car. This includes a high torque starter, stainless exhaust, Good Parts uprated suspension, electronic ignition and Moto-Lita steering wheel.
We are selling this great car on behalf of its current owner who is a long-time Triumph enthusiast. He has owned this car for 18 years after acquiring it from the original owner's son. It has only been driven 1200 miles since the restoration was completed. This is a great opportunity to own a completely restored TR6 at a fraction of the restoration cost. TR6's are appreciating nicely and this investment-quality example will certainly be worth more in the future!
