Description:

1974 Triumph TR-6

Very hard to find in this condition. This 1974 Triumph TR6 is excellent throughout. Solid, straight Texas car, with a recent restoration, all mechanical components, engine, cooling, brake, suspension, gearbox and exhaust have received the attention to make sure everything is as it should be. Runs very nice, smooth and pulls very strong. Clutch is smooth and positive, gearbox feels nicely lapped in and true. The steering is responsive and turn-in is sharp and predictable.
Cosmetically, the car is beautiful, paint, body, engine bay, tires, wheels, stainless steel exhaust, seats, carpet, dash, gauges, steering wheel all as they should be. Jack, spare tire on original rim.....recent Goodyears... The soft top is very recent, if not brand new, as are the top boot and tonneau cover. Starts at the first turn of the ignition switch, runs and drives like new.

On Feb-10-18 at 14:45:38 PST, seller added the following information:

Compression tests were reportedly all even, between 126 to 129 or 130. The suspension has all new bushings, ball joints, mounts, shocks, links, etc. The tuner is a JVC and has a nice set of speakers sitting on the rear parcel shelve, so no hatchet job speaker holes have been cut. The top, top boot and tonnaeu cover are new. The radiator is new...correct green hoses look new... The tires are Goodyear 205/70r15's. The exhaust is stainless steel. The glove box interior looks perfect and it's light is working. Turn Signals, lights all work as they should. Oil looks clean. Coolant looks great. A set of twin air horn have been added and sound the part perfectly. The exhaust note is pleasant, too! Oil pressure warm is around 40 at idle and over 60 at 3000 RPM. I was in the process of adding photos of the door bottoms, as they are as pretty as the rest of the car, but someone placed a bid, and eBay would not let me change the photos.
Thank you!
