Frame-off restored in 2004. Driven very little since. Needs engine work.

1979 Triumph Spitfire

This car had a frame-off restoration in 2004. We bought it in 2008, and driven it precious little and only in fair weather. The body is in excellent condition. It has overdrive, and loves the open road. It's got a Weber carb and exhaust header. The conv top is in great shape. Newer starter, elec fuel pump, and brake master cylinder. This car is a blast to drive.Last year it blew the head gasket. When torquing on the new head gasket, I stripped the threads in the block. I attempted to repair it with Time-Serts, but to no avail. It needs a good home, and will be well worth the investment.
