1969 Triumph TR-6
LARGE PICTURES BELOW First year of production for the TR6 and the most desirable. Rust free car and from New Mexico since almost new. Always garaged and ordered new with the rare wire wheel option. Numbers matching drivetrain. Complete mechanical refurbishment of engine and brakes with all the receipts to prove it. Runs and drives without any issues, ready to take on a classic car tour. Collector car and marque enthusiast owned. Engine rebuilt to high performance specs by vintage aircraft and automotive engine specialist (9.5 to 1 compression ratio, Ted Schumacher S2 cam, ground and spin-balanced crank, ported, headers, etc.) Carbs rebuilt and fit with adjustable pistons by Joe Curto, America's best known SU and Stromberg specialist in NY. Rebuilt starter and alternator as well as new petronix electronic ignition, flame thrower coil, ignition wires, and of course plugs. New brakes, clutch, master and slave cylinder. Wire wheels painted and trued with new Vredestein tires. All gauges work, carpet, top, and tonneau all work or are in good condition. 2015 2nd in Class Win at British Car Days in Las Cruces NM.
