Up for sale is a high end build 1971 FJ40 resto-mod. The restoration began with a very clean body/frame from the Mojave desert sandblasted to bare metal. a new GM crate 430hp LS3 with GM harness, new Toyota H55F 5speed/“split case” t-case, GM power steering conversion, GM disc brake conversion, Advanced Adaptors/Mark’s LS conversion, Metal Tech roll cage, OME 2.5 lift, 33x10.5 BFG’s, Dakota Digital gauge cluster, 15 gal aluminum fuel cell, Aeromotive fuel delivery, Vintage Air heat, Tom Woods custom driveshafts, 4.10 axle ratios/rear locking diff, LED lighting, Bestop soft top, SOR bikini top, and more. I’ve put about 3400 miles on the build since completion. She goes straight down the interstate hands off and stops on a dime. Hit the key and go.
