1987 Toyota Supra Turbo Hardtop

Selling my 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo 5 speed manual that I’ve had since 2001. I originally purchased it with 95k miles it had a bad engine that had sucked a valve. My father owned a mechanic shop for many years and we put in a used low mileage Japan spec engine at the time along with new gaskets including the head gasket torqued to the proper 80ft/lbs (not the factory flawed 60ft/lb spec) and a new clutch while the engine was out. Over the years I have done a lot of custom work on this car. I’m very meticulous when it comes to my cars. It’s about 340-350HP at the crank on stock fuel system and stock turbo pushing a moderate 14psi which is plenty for street fun.So here’s everything I’ve done to it.Full 80mm BIC Divorced DownpipeFull 80mm RSR Cat Back Stainless Race ExhaustRebuilt CT-26 Turbo w/ enlarged wastegate port in exhaust housingTurbo wastegate boost mod Ceramic coated turbo heat shield and exhaust manifold heat shield440cc Injectors rebuilt and flow mapped they flow 480ccNGK iridium spark plugsCustom intercooler piping with silicone hoses and stainless t-clampsAEM dry flow air filterGates racing timing beltAluminum large core racing radiatorFactory headlight washers deleted and converted to intercooler sprayer systemOil cooler relocated to drivers fog light holeAdditional matching oil cooler for power steering added to passenger fog light holeH&R Race SpringsTokico Illumina electronically adjustable race shocks that work with the factory system for normal mode, sport mode, and stiff mode (auto)Aluminum ARE 18” wheels w/ new Federal ss595 tiresTires, shocks and springs have 2k miles on them at mostRedline MT-90 transmission fluidRedline 75-140 rear diff fluid for the limited slipGerman Castrol 10w-30 Engine Oil Frontwindshield was replaced when car was paintedLumar HP 20% window tint all aroundEnergy Suspension full rear urethane bushing set (not installed)All regular maintenance has always been meticulously done and things like water pump, pulleys, tensioner, timing belt, drive belts, hoses, spark plug wires, synthetic fluid changes etc.Full Custom Stereo System including:Rare Eclipse CD80518V pre out audiophile head unit w/remote made in JapanMatching Limited Edition Cadence Amplifiers made by ZED a 900W and 600WHigh end German made MB Quart mids and tweeters in the doorsAll oxygen free copper wiring with the big 3 upgrade1 Farad power capAll gold connectors and distribution blocks with 0 gauge mains, 4 gauge directs, 12 gauge speaker wiresCustom fiberglass subwoofer enclosure molded into the spare tire compartment under the floor of the trunk w/ 3/4” sub face and amp rackInverted high endPolk SR 12” subDynamat covering entire rear trunk floor 200Amp AlternatorI’m sure I’m forgetting other things I’ve done and will add them if they pop in my head.As you can see in the pictures Iclipped a deer with it on the passenger front corner panel. The hood and front bumper were not hit but there are a few paint chips around the headlight cutout. The fender and headlight were struck and there’s a dent in the passenger door. The door dent is easily fixable but it needs a fender and turn signal light. I have a replacement headlight assembly in the same factory color from a donor car that’s mint. I had the car about 80% repainted by a professional in the Toyota factory dark blue mica metallic prior to the deer but I purposely did not paint the rear bumper as so much stereo work was being done didn’t want risk any scratches so it needs paint also. There’s no oxidation anywhere on the car and the 3 stage paint shines deep except the rear bumper. I think there’s about 5 coats of clear on it too.The car has never been tracked or drag raced or abused. Itruns and drives amazing it just needs the body work finished. I was going to have it repaired but I had kids and priorities change and kept putting it off. I’ve put hundreds of hours of work into the car but I just don’t have time to enjoy it anymore. Trying it out here to see if it gets any interest seems like Supra’s are even more sought after now than when I got it. Someone will be amazed at its condition and the customization that’s been done. The car is fully optioned out including factory electronic suspension, limited slip rear differential, power windows, power locks, power seat, a/c, cruise control, power mirrors, factory alarm etcThe interior is in amazing condition for its age a few little blemishes here and there. Alright that’s about it I think. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks!
