Description:

1993 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado

A beautiful example of one of the most important lines in Landcruiser history; The Prado. This Prado displayed in a white & blue two-tone Heritage style paint scheme shows beautifully with only 29K miles at the helm! This example shipped with the very sought after 1KZ-TE turbo-diesel which was as well introduced in 1993. Insert the key & turn; and you have never heard a faster diesel engine start. Bountiful health shines through with a heap of great torque accompanied with usable power. This example was paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission (Aisin A340h) providing power at all the right moments through the use of buttery-smooth shifts throughout the power range. A smooth suspension paired with 33” knobby tires gives way to a nice drive on both tarmac & gravel. This is one of our favorites to drive, and while containing its 90s heritage gives way to a modern feel. The Cockpit The interior is nothing short of reflective of a mere 29K miles. Beautifully kept with a very period correct theme to boot. At the driver controls sits a classic Nardi wooden tri-spoke steering wheel with blackpinstripe + classic horn button. Meanwhile on the entertainment end of things is a Carrozzeria bluetooth head unit. The door panels & floor mats are covered in a grey fabric with retro gradient using blues, purples, pinks & grays. The seats are perforated black leather and shows very well. The History of the Landcruiser Prado The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado was originally part of the 70 Series Land Cruiser lineup before evolving into its own distinct model range. The Prado model line is famously known as one of the most comfortable variations of the Landcruiser and for this to be both the ever capable 70 series & Prado in one rig makes it quite special!
