Truck acquired January 2020 from 2nd owner to add to the fleet of other FJ60s at that time. Intended to change out some wear item and maintenance items, but because of how clean and straight the body was, this project turned into a full engine, suspension and interior overhaul. Currently has 187k on the body and just around 1000 miles since the full engine/suspension overhaul.

This FJ has been worked on and off the past 3 years of ownership. Hardly driven other than the full engine break-in and runs to the smog shop. Major oil leaks from previous owner kept the frame rust free about the front half of the frame. The rear does have some surface rust present. The frame is healthy and no major rust. Currently, we are still tinkering with CA Smog. Trying to figure out the perfect balance between the EGR and carburetor. If EGR unplugged, NO (PPM) shows low numbers but the HC and CO go up. If EGR is all hooked up, the HC and CO number are low but fails on NO(PPM).
Once warmed up, the engine purrs.No hesitation, no vibrations, very quiet and smooth.Runs and drives perfect.
Listing this FJ AS-IS, but will continue to try and figure out the perfect CA Smog balance. We will approach price accordingly if/when smog is complete. At this time Selling AS-IS.
