This vehicle is a 1988 Toyota Supra that has had an engine swap to a 2JZ bottom end and a 1JZ cyclinder head. Engine setup is sometimes referred to as a 1.5jz. The engine is a 3.0 Liter in-line six. It is connected to a 5 speed R154 transmission. Has 70 mm master power turbo and large front mount intercooler. Has tial blowoff valve. Back story on car: I bought the car with a 1JZ engine swap already done. Drove the car a few years and then blew the engine running it hard one night. Took engine out and found that the 3rd cylinder rod bearing had failed. Bought a 2JZ motor and used bottom end to do engine swap and installed the 1JZ cylinder head on to 2JZ bottom end. I upgraded the bottom end with aluminum forged pistons and ACL race bearings. I installed stock 2JZ-gte 550cc injectors. Had car running for a few months and then clutch went out. Car has sat since. This is a project car with a lot of potential, has solid motor and sought after mk3 Toyota Supra with rare engine setup. With some work this could be a high horsepower car.
