1993 Toyota Celica GT

Up for auction is a rare and wonderful 1993 Celica GT Convertible. I purchased from the original owner (a close friend of mine) who gave up the car due to health issues. I am giving up the car because I am moving and need the space (and I need to raise funds for college tuition ahead of Fall 2023).
This is a very enjoyable car to drive. Starts right up, and runs & drives well. That said, I have not insured or registered for the last ~ 2 years.
The Good: - Recently detailed; - Garage-kept; - Power top works as it should. No leaks. - Pop-up headlights work as they should; - Power windows work as they should; - 5-speed transmission shifts smoothly. Clutch is good. - Very low miles on tires; - Starts up immediately & reliably; - Service I have had performed:

- 110k miles

· Oilchange / oil filter

· Sparkplugs

· Valvecovers

· CVdriveshaft (left front)

· Axleshaft (remove & replace left front axle)

· 4new tires: Falken SN211 195/65/14

- 111k miles

· Newbattery

The Not-as-Good: - Electrical: If the car sits for multiple days, battery will drain (I use charger in the garage or disconnect battery for season); - Stereo does not work and speakers need replacement; - dash cup holder broken & some knobs missing - A/C not functioning (I never sought repair - not necessary); - small bend in the corner of the trunk lid. Can be molded back into shape - some surface rust near rear wheel wells (see photos); - paint is OK, but definitely showing age in various spots; - Convertible top in overall good condition, but there is some separation at the main seam (pass. side rear - see photos). No leaks. - Intermittent rough engine idle diagnosed as a faulty engine mount. Will need replacing. - When I last replaced the battery, I accidentally broke the bracket. Currently holding in place with a bungee cord.
