1989 Toyota Pickup DLX

Selling my pristine condition 1989 Toyota 4wd standard cab short bed pickup truck. This truck is optioned super nicely in factory dark blue with blue interior. It also has the factory stripes, chrome package, power steering, working air conditioning, and of course the 22RE 4 cylinder with 5 speed manual transmission. This was just a very well equipped and appointed truck when built, and it still looks absolutely gorgeous today. Note niceties:like the factory chrome center caps on wheels, and original mud flaps all still intact.
All maintenance is up to date, including preemptively replacing the timing chain (have service records). The truck also has brand new all terrain tires on all four corners, and new shocks as well. Its road manners are impeccable, it drives exactly like a low mileage Toyota 4x4 should. It starts, stops, drives, handles very well, and 4wd works wonderfully. The truck has had one repaint, and decals were replaced then. Very minimal body work was done, it only had various small dings. The truck has never been in a collision, and wears all of its original body panels. A look inside the bed shows it is dent free, and always has been. This was a grocery getter, never a work truck. It has also never had any type of rust, and the frame is absolutely gorgeous still. This is one of the finest quality late 80’s Toyota 4x4s you are going to find.
Inside the truck you’ll also notice the blue interior over all is excellent, that is original material. Seat has never been worked on. Door panels are original, as well as the carpet. Overall, the interior is very clean. It has no odors, and has never been smoked in. Headliner is in great shape as well. A/C blows cold, heat warms up nicely, and fan speeds work well. Climate controls are not stiff, and glide nicely. Windows roll up and down with light pressure (I lubed the rollers myself). Doors have a nice pop to them when you pull the handles. The truck really does have a new feel when getting in and out of it, and when operating it. The vintage pioneer tape deck is the only thing that is not working on the truck. I’d like to have replaced it with another vintage radio from the era. But, I’ve not located one. So, you’ll need to work out tunes yourself if you end up being the lucky new owner.
In regards to the transaction. If in person sale, I prefer actual cash. If shipping, I will accept a cashiers check from a reputable bank. I can not recommend a shipper, I do not have one.
