1985 Toyota Pickup SR5

1985 22rte Factory Turbo Pickup - NO RESERVE Been working on this on and off for the past 3-4 years. Purchased with a rebuilt engine. I have no paperwork but was a top and bottom end rebuild. Has a new Toyota, not knockoff Turbo. I have a feeling the engine was rebuilt, dropped in, they got it started and never shook it down. Was not running great when I got it. I adjusted the valves, tuned the mixture screw with a wideband, idle adjustment and voila. They had added an "RV" cam during the rebuild and never tuned for it. Anyway, it's been great for 3 years and I have a cold start video that I am too stupid to upload here I took this morning. I suppose I could text or email it if you're interested.
This is an Arizona truck. A little surface rust here and there but the interior was badly damaged from the sun when I got it. reupholstered seats including the TURBO factory stitching, A dash cap, not installed the greatest, but better than the cracked dash underneath, radio still missing, rear interior paneling was like cracked glass, removed it and added soundproofing, center console was cracked and broken and I added a tuffy box with padded armrest. Many other odds and ends were fixed or replaced in the interior but there is a bit more to do.
New steering box (this is the old-fashioned non-rack and pinion setup) installed along with all new linkage, Pitman arm etc...Dropped 2" on a Belltech drop spindle kit, new shocks & wheel bearings, its been a few years since the install and I can't recall what else was done, but I am the kind of guy that wouldn't have left anything.
AC works and is fully intact although in these sweltering Summers in Tucson it DOES NOT keep up. Maybe a new drier and some illegal R12 and put your sweater on.
Paint is original, but, "Patinaed" Haha, but is actually cool looking in person, love the old factory sticker package.
I do have the original Turbo wheels that will come with the truck, new Crown Vic wheels and new tires were put on 6 months ago.
Catalytic converter is intact and exhaust is probably 2.25" all the way back, looks like a new cat to me so emissions should be a breeze.
We probably have put about 5k miles on it since we got it and has been sitting a bunch for the last year or so. I am in the midst of an old Volvo teardown and rebuild and need the money for this project. It's a great little rare truck and should last as is for a number of years.
