This is a 1980 FJ40, build date was 12–79. I am the second owner and bought it off the original owner who has had it since 1981. Over the last eight years I have rebuilt or replaced every component on this vehicle. Upgrades include:
1) Complete rebuild of the 2F motor including addition of fuel injected and all new components including wiring harness, and high energy distributor.
2) Complete teardown of the exterior of the vehicle with new paint, the original red. Includes removing diamond plate and painting and repairing any issues on the body the vehicle. Diamond plate is LineX for durability. Any rust was removed and repaired in the vehicle currently has zero rust. Paint job in 95% condition
3) H55F 5 speed manual transmission was added with new transfer case and parking brake.
4) ARB front and rear lockers w on board air compressor. Complete rebuild of the front and rear axles including 4.88 gears, seals and the installation of the four-wheel disc brake. All axle seals and bearings replaced.
5) Entire vehicle has been rewired with painless wiring harness; lights have been replaced with LED. All gauges have been upgraded with Dakota gauges.
6) Gobi rack with high lift jack, flood lights LED, and LED KC style lights
7) Hell for stout 4” lift with reverse shackle kit and 35” AT tires, 95% tread
8) New front bucket seats and center console, shotgun shifter for transmission and pistol shifters for the transfer case.
I have spent eight years replacing and fixing this vehicle to its current condition. We are selling to complete a new project. You will not find a more complete and upgraded Landcruiser.

Brand new frame. The original was bent in a rear collision. Inspected, but the unit has a branded title.
