1986 Toyota Camry LE

Up for sale is this rare lift back 1986 Toyota Camry! These older Toyota Camry's are rarely listed, especially the most uncommon liftback model! Since Toyota began manufacturing the vehicles in Denver in 1988, this is one of the last models to be built in Japan. Most of these Camry's were sold as manuals, so these four speed "slushboxes" were not a popular choice back then. This car starts up and runs great, but at a standstill with the engine running, the car likes to vibrate. This car runs and shifts smoothly, and is a blast to drive around. The original owner was an old lady who traded in the vehicle with under 100,000 miles, and then we came along, bought the car off the dealership and drove until just under 130,000 miles. It currently has 3 owners, I was just made aware of this, but I know for a fact the original owner was an older person, unsure who the second owner is however. This Camry is currently missing the radio, spare tire, rearview mirror and wiper control arm. A wiper control arm that was pulled off a 1986 Camry is included, I have not had the time to install, also because I do not have the tools to install it. The front and rear bumpers have faded paint, along with the lift gate and the roof. It's mechanically nearly perfect, with the only issue being that it leaks power steering fluid, and the rear left quarter panel has a dent when it was hit-and-run a few years ago. The car is also missing the passenger seat belt, but we have a climbing grade clip on it, to it can still kind of buckle. It currently has almost a full tank of gas. The rear taillights are also slightly cracked, but work just fine. New battery installed a few months ago, and has tags until 2023. Comes with one of the original keys, and a 2nd key that was copied from the original. The driver's seat has a small tear and is slightly deformed, and the front seat (Covers?) on the back are slightly coming off, seems to be common on these old Camry's. Left headlight is slightly pushed in. Current mileage is 129,526 miles, might go up 50-100, but for sure won't go over 130,000, as it will be driven a bit out of nostalgia. Would consider a trade for few (MANUAL!) vehicles, a couple of them being: Subaru Impreza WRX (Does not have to be working), older 2000-2010 Volvo Sedan (S60, S40, etc.), or a turbo Subaru Legacy.
