Very rare chance to own a USDM original completely rust free southern Supra. Black with desirable targa top and ultra rare factory wingless. Original twin turbo automatic car. Has not left my garage for the past 1.5 years. The previous owner lived nearby and had it sitting in his garage untouched for 5-6 years before that. The car has not been started since about 2012.Title is clean, in hand, and in my name.
I bought it from a nearby neighbor 1.5 years ago as an unfinished project. Around 2012 he had a local shop build the engine with CP Pistons, Eagle Rods, ARP head studs, balanced bottom end, Suprastore coil packs, 750CC injectors, Precision turbo, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Gates timing belt, BC adjustable coilovers, HKS intercooler, Mishimoto radiator etc. He only got as far as putting the built engine back in the car and it sat in his driveway and eventually garage for the next few years. Since I bought it from him, I have spent thousands of dollars gathering all original parts and even doubles of many parts to have as back up and I will include them with the car. I intended to finish it and enjoy it but life got in the way.Everything as far as I can tell to put this car back to stock will come with car including over thousands of dollars of new OEM parts that I purchased along the way with the intention of putting it back to stock 100%. Twin turbos in excellent condition, factory springs and shocks, injectors, intercooler with piping, wiring harness, AC compressor, new AC hoses and condenser, thermostat, OEM radiator, fuel pump, ABS, TRAC system, new radiator fan, fan shroud, etc. Everything you see in the pictures will come with the car plus some things not pictured like the original suspension.
The paint overall looks original, worn and dull in some areas as expected. Really could use a paint job like any car this old. I have personally checked and found every single VIN sticker on the car when I purchased it and I can assure you that they are all there with the correct VIN number except for the passenger rear quarter panel. The previous owner told me he had the quarter panel repaired after sliding the tail into a guard rail while it was raining out which explains the missing VIN sticker at that location. All other VIN stickers are there and original including the hood, doors, front and rear bumpers, tailgate. driver side quarter panel.
Targa top does not leak. Comes with the OEM toolkit to remove it.
Wheels are BBS 18" tires, are almost new but have been sitting for 8 years.
Interior is excellent with some new OEM trim pieces but the seats are original and of course could benefit from new leather seat covers.
I was told when I purchased the car that the mileage on the odometer is somewhere just under 160,000. MILES ARE APPROXIMATE. The wiring harness has been out of the car since I bought it so I never saw the digital odometer light up.
