1974 Toyota Land Cruiser Base 3.9L

19740000 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40

This 1974 FJ40 that is 75% restored and can be completed very quickly. I do not have time to complete the restoration so I have to sell it. I have a majority of the parts needed to compete the build to include the paint. I had the transmission and transfer case inspection, hecked and new gaskets installed, t has a New Clutch, ressure Plate, ilot Bearing, ew Stainless Steel Brakes lines and Brake Pads and Cylinder. This was a frame off from the firewall back and I sandblasted the entire frame to bare metal and had it sprayed with epoxy primer. It has new floor, uarter panels, ottom door panels and lower bed panel. Doors are solid with some surface rust that is easy to repair. Hood and front fenders are solid with no major dents and minor surface rust. Motor is solid and has good compression. I replaced all of the plugs, ires and oil and filter before beginning project. Motor runs smooth and does not smoke at all. Exhaust had a hole and was removed during restoration below the header. Truck has over sized off road rims 31x10.5 that are in good shape but it will need tires. Shocks are in good shape as is the rest of the suspension. The hardtop has rust thru spots in the left and right rear quarters but the fiberglass top is solid and has no rot or cracks. Glass in the hardtop is in good shape and can be installed in new quarters very easily. Ambulance doors in the rear and the bottom sections are in good shape and there are a couple of spots on the top sections that will needs some minor work but the glass and all of the brackets and handles are in good shape. I have a new wiring harness and tail lights as well as a new bikini top an mounting hardware. Rear Jumper Seats are in good shape and have the seat belts. Front seats are aftermarket buckets that are in decent shape and I have new seat covers for them and they have 4 point off road harnesses that mount to the roll bar. Both Doors are in good shape with working hardware and good glass. Doors have some minor rust at the bottom but easily repairable. Windshield and front of cab is in good shape with some minor surface rust.
I had almost everything I needed to complete the restoration but I have started a new career and I do not have time to complete it.
This is an FJ40 with a solid motor, ew clutch and solid sheet metal throughout and just needs someone to give it a good month an you can eithr have a solid daily drivers or sell it and make good money. I do not have time and it has to go.
