1975 Toyota Land Cruiser

We all know the BJ40 (diesel) is a little harder to find then the FJ40 (gasoline). This Toyota land cruiser BJ40 is a 1975 and was manufactured in Japan and then imported to Costa Rica. You can see this from the way the back doors open and that the hardtop is steel and not fiberglass. While visiting my friend who's family lives in Alajuela, I saw that it was for sale. I immediately fell in love with it and decided to purchase the cruiser from an amazing family who was the second owners & who lived in a gated community of Heredia. I bring this up because this BJ40 never lived in the mountains or coffee farms. It was well taken care of and lived in the cities of Costa Rica.

It has the original B 3.0-Liter inline 4-cylinder diesel engine, making gas mileage great (27-30 per gallon) and it's got the power to climb anything. The cluster is in kilometers just FYI. It has the original Toyota keys. To get it back to Texas I shipped it on a boat to Houston. I live in Austin, Texas and use the cruiser to commute around the city. So everything is well maintained and with 5 BF Goodrich All Terrain tires on her, she's really to drive. Had the experts at Land cruiser specialist do a check up of the vehicle and everything looks great they said.

There are a few cosmetic things that could be polished up that you'll see in the photos, like the original head liner and visors could be replaced. There is a small rip in the drivers seat. Some rust in the rain gutters on the inside. Everything is in the photos, so check them out and please message with any questions or to come test drive in person if you live close by.

Please note that the Yakima Sky Rise tent is not included. If interested in the tent as well please message me. Thanks and happy bidding.
