1973 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 40. Brought to MI from Utah so it has an amazingly solid body, frame and floor. Hard top, hard doors, side mirrors. Bucket seat conversion in the front, still has original recovered back jump seats with 4 seat belts and original roll bar. Chevy 350 conversion with SM-465 4 speed transmission with creeper gear and original transfer case. Aluminum radiator keeps it running cool. Runs and drives great, has had multiple trips on the highway at 70 mph. Aftermarket rims, dual exhaust, aftermarket gauges for temp and oil, custom front bumper with winch mount, extremely fun, lots of original parts, very capable off road. Overall the unit is in good shape. Anyone that has owned any of these older FJ's knows that the drum brakes have a lot to be desired, but it stops fine. The aftermarket lights that are wired up for backup are not wired in. Windshield wiper arms are not installed but the motor works, gas gauge works but is not correct, same with the speedometer.
