1987 Toyota MR2 Base

This MR2 has been my personal summer only car for well over ten but since I have two along with a few other toys we are thinning the herd. Originally a Texas car this is the most solid, never rusted MR2 I have ever had or seen. The car has never seen snow and seldom seen even rain. It winters in a climate controlled storage area on a trickle charger. It is the least expensive model made that year having no power accessories or creature comforts other than AC which is non-functioning although I am quite sure it would if the included compressor were installed and the system recharged. The only diversion from original condition is the stereo and the original is included if you want it. Mostly original paint I believe the only areas repainted are the right front fender and the top which had a few cans(beer) dropped on it by accident. The interior although not perfect is quite decent and everything works. At about 175k a valve job was done, valves were adjusted, timing belt/water pump and pulleys were replaced along with the rotors and brake pads. Tires were replaced late last year. This little car starts, runs and functions very well and I am sure one could drive it anywhere. Currently in non-op status in the storage building. According to AutoCheck this vehicle was reconstructed twenty years ago but my NY title is clear and I bought it in 2004 with a clear OH title. It is guarded night and day by fire breathing dragons. Proceeds from this sale will go to the Semper Fi Fund and the Gary Senise Foundation. As always, absolutely no test pilots.
