This Matching Numbers US Model FJ40 is a very nice, rare example of a Fresh & Extensive Restoration! Brought to us by a gentleman who is considered to be an avid FJ enthusiast, having restored several FJ40 & FJ45's over the years. During the restoration of this FJ40, no expense was spared! All of the drive train was gone through and refreshed at that time which consisted of: engine, transmission, differential, clutch and steering box (power steering). The entire body was stripped down, the windows and trim were removed to perform a bare metal re-spray in the factory freeborn red color. This FJ is equipped with a full functioning factory style A/C system.
You will enjoy the added power steering setup this FJ has, it provides a more comfortable driving experience, without the "worn out/tired" feeling of the no-power steering FJ's. Once you set your eyes on this FJ, it will give you an excellent perspective on what a proper restoration should entail!
