1979 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ40 4x4 Restored. 4 speed manual transmission, 2F 4.2 Liter In-Line gas 6 cylinder. Freeborn Red #309 and Artic White. VIN#FJ4030391. Odometer reads 46,795.Brand new air conditioning 2016.Power steering and brakes. Very mechanically sound. New base coat clear coat paint, interior, headliner, visors, mirrors and some new exterior lights. Brand new rims and tires, weather stripping, carburetor with electric choke, plugs and wires, insulation and carpet, shifter knobs and boots etc. No exhaust or manifold leaks, quiet lifters, does not smoke. Drives smooth and quiet. Floors are in excellent condition. Previous owner added custom carpets with heavier insulation for a quieter ride and to help keep the cab area cooler in summer. Removable top, fold down windshield with new latches, rear fold up seat that needs to be bolted down if so desired. All gauges are working, glass and moldings in good condition, steering is tight, breaks don't pull or shake. Has antenna but no radio. It's an excellent driver to be proud of. Not a rattle trap. Too nice for off road in my opinion. Lots of money invested and it's nicely done. I am an RV dealer and accepted it in on trade after a thorough inspection in 2016.This vehicle is dependable and a pleasure to drive. It gets plenty of attention everywhere. The paint is 3 years old and looks great. It's a good solid investment you can have some fun with. A true time capsule. I have a clean and clear Florida title.
