1987 4 Runner my dad had truck for years since new then gave it to my son who drove it for six years through high school and part of college. The AC didn't work when my son got the truck, but he is tough anyways. The wheel locks work and the 4 low and high work. Most of the driving from my dad was highway miles to and from work. My son drove locally then when he went to college. The truck was driven from Tennessee to Virginia. It will still get up on the highway but it has high miles. 4WD used for Tenn and Virginia winters. I was driving the truck only a few times a month just to keep it going after my son bought a new car. I bought a battery last winter. The heat works and it drives. Over the years had put ball joints rear shocks muffler thermostat exhaust manifold belts spark plugs and tires. Fluid changes(drained transaxle and shaft fluids)and other than that my son just drove it. Will need fluids changed. Water pump will need to be changed. Starting to seep out of weep hole. Basically the truck will need TLC, but can been driven in the process. Sold As Is. This would make a good base for an urban assault vehicle or for someone with the time to bring her up to speed. The top has never been taken off. I keep the truck under my deck because I went to get it inspected but it failed because high beam indicator and horn don't work. I found out there is a switch for the horn under the ash tray. Well it worked but the high beam indicator did not. I put the battery on charge since it was not being driven since then and all of a sudden the high beams worked. When I was about to get the truck inspected again the horn wouldn't work. This is why she is on Ebay. I'm not an electrician. Maybe someone can fix her up. Sitting more than being driven. Title is in hand. I don't ship. If you win u can drive it away or tow. I will assist in loading if needed. I accept cashiers check or cash. Truck is under my deck. This is no beauty queen Has been sitting a couple months out back. Has current tags and a ghost buster symbol. I will take my tags off when vehicle is purchased. Tool box straps and carpet squares are not sold with vehicle.
